OP IMMEDIATE ATTENTION OF ALL ESM
MEDAL DEPOSIT ON 13 SEP 2009 FROM 9 AM TO 2 PM AT JANTAR MANTAR
Dear Friends,
1. As you are aware that anguished by the apathetic attitude shown by the Govt, we have decided to intensify our Movement by once again depositing the medals with the President on 13 Sep 2009 at 3 PM.
2. Medals will be collected at Jantar Mantar from 9 AM to 2 PM on 13 Sep 2009. The IESM delegation will proceed at Rashtrapati Bhawan to deposit the medal at 3 PM the same day.
3. We have got feelers that some elements for their personnel interests are spreading rumours and misguiding the ESM against the deposit of medals. They seem to have some vested interest in it and are working against the welfare of ex-servicemen.
4. Scanned copy of IESL leaflet distributed to ESM in the 4th week of Aug 09 is enclosed herewith in this regard. This is the time that all ESM organisations and ESM must unite to thwart any such attempt. In view of this, all ESM are requested to deposit the medals in large numbers and strengthen the Movement by taking its membership. Please guide those ESM who are being misguided by some organisations & individuals for their personal interest.
