The enhanced pension that was announced on 8 March 2010 has started arriving in the banks. A few banks are still to release the amount and hopefully would do so next month.
There have been a spate of calls from all over the country on the subject of enhanced pensions. The environment is convinced that this has been possible mainly through the efforts of the IESM. In fact there are many ESM from North India who want to organize thanks-giving rallies after the heat wave subsides.
Subedar Hari Singh from Hisar continues to pursue IESM interests without let. He visits villages and makes different ESM talk to me. This part of his campaign to convince them of the genuineness of IESM cause. Often he calls more than 20 times a day. Dedicated workers like him form the backbone of the Movement and I am sure there are many more.

Best regards,
Lt Gen (Emeritus) Raj Kadyan, PVSM, AVSM, VSM
Chairman IESM
